BCG Picnic at Mohawk Park: Where Nature, History, and Community Meet
We are excited to welcome you to Mohawk Park in Brantford, Ontario, on August 1, Saturday, 2026, for a full day of nature, friendship, fun, and community connection.
BCG always pays great attention to selecting a picnic venue that adds value and meaning to our community gathering. We believe the right location should not only provide comfort and convenience, but also enrich the experience with natural beauty, historical significance, and opportunities for joyful interaction. Mohawk Park truly reflects that spirit.
Mohawk Park is one of Brantford’s most beautiful outdoor destinations, offering a peaceful natural setting with open green spaces, mature trees, lake views, and plenty of room for families and friends to relax and enjoy the day. The park provides excellent spaces for children to play, opportunities to enjoy the scenic surroundings, and beautiful views of nearby Mohawk Lake. Guests may also enjoy watching canoeing or boating activities on the lake while spending time in the fresh air.
Our gathering will take place near a beautiful shelter overlooking the lake, where you can sit back, enjoy the view, and appreciate the natural beauty of the park. All essential amenities, including restrooms, are conveniently located near the shelter for everyone’s comfort.
Nearby, you will also find Mohawk Lake and the historic Mohawk Canal, which was constructed in the 1800s to help link parts of the Grand River system. This adds a unique historical charm to the park and makes the location even more special for a community picnic.
As our picnic’s motto is to cultivate friendships through respectful and joyful activities, we have planned a variety of events throughout the day, including networking, outdoor activities, sports, children’s fun, and more.
For those interested in carpooling and travelling together, we have designated Stone Road Mall, in front of HomeSense, as the meeting point.

Cost Sharing: For Food (Lunch, Breakfasts and Evening Snacks): $15 per person
The Schedule:
Car Pool: 9.00 am-9.30 am
Arrival: 10.00 am-10.30 am
Breakfast: 11.00 am-12.00 am
Sports: 12.00 pm-2.00 pm
Lunch: 2.00 pm-3.00 pm
Raffle draw/Entertainment/Closing: 3.30 pm-6.00 pm
The picnic shelter has enough seating space, but you may bring your Lawn Chairs and Blankets for your comfort.
