International Mother Language Day Celebration 2025

We are going to celebrate the International Mother Language Day on 22nd February. This is a day observed by the members of the United Nations to celebrate the richness of linguistic and cultural diversity (see the details here ). The day was proclaimed by the UN assembly in 1999 led by Bangladesh— the nation has a glorious history of struggles to protect and restore “Bengali” as the state language (of then East Pakistan) in 1952.
We are planning for an exciting event, with full of cultural richness and opportunities for cross-cultural learning and networking with community members. The details will be posted soon.
