The award was presented during the opening ceremony of the Guelph Multicultural Festival on June 9 2017. The Jury board highly appreciated Idris Mohammed, one of the founding members of BCG, for his contri-bution to building community circles in Guelph. The Jury board cited specifically his roles, among others, as a member of BCG from its inception in about one and half year ago. This makes us happy and proud of this success of signifying our community identify in Guelph. BCG is happy to be part of such a wonderful collective achievement.
